We understand that occasionally, there may be a fault in what was delivered or it may not meet your expectations, and for these reasons we are happy to offer a refund. If you wish to return any item/items you will need to firstly email Hootkid on firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate your reason for return along with your invoice number.
You will then need to fill in the reverse side of the packing slip and return this along with the goods to Hootkid PO Box 5059 Middle Park VIC 3206. Goods must be returned within 14 days of order and must be returned in original condition, that being, unworn, unwashed and with original label and swing ticket attached. Hootkid will only accept returns that come from a smoke free environment.
Refunds on faulty items bought through sites or stores other than Hootkid are the sole responsibility of the company selling the item and are not the responsibility of Hootkid.
Returns will be credited in the matter they were originally paid excluding postage. Cost of postage will only be returned if item is deemed faulty. All return shipping costs (excluding faulty items) are at the buyers expense.
If you would like to exchange an item/items due to style, colour or size, please follow the instructions as above, firstly contacting Hootkid on email email@example.com and indicating your reason for return. All return shipping costs (excluding faulty items) are at the buyers expense and standard postal charges will apply for the re-shipping of goods.
Please take note that there is no refund or exchange on sale or discounted items unless deemed faulty. We do not offer a refund on hair accessories, swimwear or earrings due to hygiene regulations. Giveaway or competition vouchers are only redeemable on full priced merchandise and cannot be exchanged for cash monies.
Garage Sale / Samples & Seconds Sales - from time to time we do offer goods via a "Garage Sale" which are often samples, seconds and previous seasons styles - these sales are considered final and there are no refunds/exchanges offered. From time to time, items may be sold that are in fact not available due to high traffic or technical errors, this is completely out of our control and payment for these items will be refunded to you within 5 days.
Flash sale redemption codes cannot be applied along side gift voucher codes, gift vouchers can only be used on full price stock OR marked down styles.
Unfortunately once your order is paid for and submitted changes/cancellations cannot be made, orders will be dispatched as they are received. Please note during sale periods dispatch times may vary due to increased volume of orders.
Hootkid cannot be held responsible for items that have not reached us, and for this reason suggest that you use a signed for delivery method, such as Registered Post. Returns and refunds may take up to 14 days to process.
Please keep in mind as our styles limited and unique we may have sold out or don’t have the size of the item/items you require. In this instance we will let you know via email prior to you shipping the item back to us. We will always discuss alternative items or we will credit you in the matter you originally paid excluding shipping cost.
